Surrounded by large pastures and old trees Webelsgrund has offered excellent conditions for breeding horses since 1954.

Our stud farm achieved many a success in breeding the Trakehner race which has always been closest to our hearts. Many championship horses and more than 35 selected stallions have come from Webelsgrund, mainly the selection winners Auftakt, Kastor, Schwalbenfreund, Holunder and Itaxerxes.

A breeding history to be continued by our stallions In Petto by Buddenbrock, originating from the direct mother line and also bred by the breeder-family of Webelsgrund's first stallion Impuls, Oliver Twist by E.H. Monteverdi TSF and United Kingdom by Gipsy King. We add the sport hereditor EH. Polarion and Lord Luciano, the last son of Enrico Caruso. Checkpoint by Polarpunkt has now fully matured and has grown into a strong stallion personality. Elite Stallion Michelangelo successfully continues leading the stallion dynasty at Webelsgrund as "Grand Seigneur". Also we offer the thoroughbred Betel xx, successful in jumping-competitions. Le Duc by Anduc remains available via deep frozen sperm.

We consider it our duty to offer you stallions for breed which have proved themselves by their performance and hereditary qualitites. Furthermore we want to put young stallions "on their way" as hopeful aspirants to breeding progress and thus co-create the future of Trakehner breeding.

Apart from keeping stallions another focal point of our business is the breeding of young horses, mainly stallions. Of course we also provide the education and training of young horses. The sale of high class Trakehner horses from best blood lines which are continually available at Webelsgrund is another main point.
