Oliver Twist is the first selected Trakehner Stallion out of the winning stallion Monteverdi, both from the Heinen-Issum Stud. His selection and distinction as prime stallion prove to be the result of a finely planned mating. E.H. Monteverdi - E.H. Partout - E.H. Arogno are a class in themselves.
As his mother E.S. Olga III by E.H. Sixtus - Habicht - Burnus complements the oka family's high class breeding. His father E.H. Monteverdi TSF was a convincing finalist of the Federal Championship 2001/2002 under Fie Skarsø as well as of the World Championship of Young Horses in Verden.
In 2003 both qualified for the Nuremberg Burg-Cup by their S-victories. Monteverdi TSF plays an immense and fundamental part in horse sports and dressage today. But his grandfather Partout and his greatgrandfather Arogno are also symbols of a special class and performance. These genes make Oliver Twist a stallion whose gaits delight in sports and esthetics. Oliver Twist shows intelligence, a will to top performance as well as a friendly character. His capacities and his surprising rideability will make him a celebrated sportshorse. All his first yearlings are exceptional high class offspring with surprising moves, lots of character and type.
Two sons of Oliver Twist have been graded in 2007, one of them is the Champion of the grading, Grand Passion.
Oliver Twist absolved the 70-day-test with superior results for dressage. He is available to the trakehner breeders at the EU insemination station Webelsgrund.
